So perhaps October is nearly over and I’m only now posting the Giveaway for this month…

I was trying to get somewhat close to Thanksgiving {though admittedly it’s still a little bit early} & wanted to make sure there was time for the actual giveaway AND for it to get to the winner before the big turkey day!

. . . . . . . . . . .

Before I go any further though, I want to introduce you to one of my favorite blogs, Dear Lillie. Jenni {the mastermind behind this gorgeous blog & shop} has SO generously offered her printables as part of our giveaway as well!

{thanks again, Jenni!}

Maple Leaf

Chocolate Thanksgiving

Black & Gray Thanksgiving

Wouldn’t you love to live here??? I’m hoping someday Jenni will mysteriously appear on my doorstep & decide to make over my house for me.

Wouldn’t that be amazing?? One can dream.

2 Lucky winners will receive these downloadable printables to decorate your Thanksgiving table!

1 of you will receive the downloadable printables…and…all of the following goodies!

. . . . . . . . . . .

 I really wanted to include some fun candlesticks {I mean really, what’s a dinner table without candles??} but wasn’t finding what I was looking for.

What do you do when you can’t purchase your vision?

…you make it, of course!

I love the pumpkin color of these candles from Denmark. I simply wrapped them in blue painters tape and grabbed my gold paint.

 This brand is found at Joann’s but any craft paint should be fine.

I decided to not add a 2nd coat because I really like the texture that the streaks give. They sure ended up pretty, didn’t they??

{I know you’re going to try this at home now}

I’m a bit obsessed with chalkboards right now and when I found this silver platter at Goodwill, I knew I needed to change it up a little.

It would look so cute with a quote scribed upon it & propped up on your china cabinet. Or perhaps displaying a few kinds of gourmet cheeses with their names listed beneath so your guests know what they’re eating.

…did you think I would pass up including cute napkins into my giveaway?

Please.

You know how excited I get over cute napkins.

A few years ago I found red & white paper straws for Laith’s Vintage Toy Birthday party. Ever since then, I have used them at almost every party I’ve thrown. There are so many color options now!

You need them. They’re fantastic.

Did you know that Pottery Barn Kids offers classes every now and then? Laith & I went on a date there last weekend and made super hero capes {it was seriously awesome}. While there, I couldn’t help but grab this glitter garland.

Where would you put it? Maybe hanging on your mantle? Or perhaps somewhere in your dining room?

Hm. How ’bout strung down your banister…?

I bought one for our home too, so bring on the ideas!

How cute are these kids? I kinda want that little girl’s sweater. So cozy.

When we 1st moved into our new house a few months ago, I was going NUTS with all our blank walls…particularly the looooong wall in our dining room.

I happened into a REALLY fun home boutique one day and bought a 50 foot roll of this paper table liner. Rather than draped down our table, I hung it on the wall.

I actually really like it. It’s simple and a bit unique.

It’s a lot cuter in real life. This photo doesn’t do it justice.

I thought it’d be fun for family & guests to write what their thankful for on it. Or you could even provide some crayons for the little ones at the table and while the grown-ups are doing all the chatting we tend to do at dinner parties, the kids could keep themselves busy coloring.

That is, if you don’t end up hanging it on your wall like I did!

{the roll provided in this giveaway is 7 feet long}

. . . . . . . . . . .

    Family is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, my sister and brother in law will be stationed in South Korea this year for Thanksgiving, so it won’t be quite the same.

    Family is my favorite part of Thanksgiving. We go to Houston to my mom’s house and my husbands mom joins us at my parents as well as my siblings and all of my nieces. My kids LOVE being with their cousins and I just love being all together under one roof. Then after all the kids are asleep it’s movie watching time with a big second helping of dessert!
